It's Fiji Time

(Flugzeit insgesamt 32 Stunden)
oder Urlaub in der momentanen Umgebung machen.
Fiji Inseln :-)
(Flugzeit insgesamt 4 Stunden)

Mhhh, kurz überlegt Schnee, Kälte, Dunkelheit vs. Sommer, Strand, Meer...
Fiji!

... the perfect quote if it goes haywire again.

After my season in Brisbane / Australia was over, vacation was all I could think about.
Now there were 2 options: flying home on December 12th - that means back to Germany - (flight time 32 hours)
or vacation in the current environment.
Fiji Islands :-)
(flight time 4 hours in total)

Hmmm, takes a moment to think about it, snow, cold, darkness vs. summer, beach, sea ...
Fiji!

Also los ging es.

So let's go.

First by plane from Brisbane to the main island Nadi and afterwards by seaplane...
Check it out - I am still speechless.

It's Fiji Time bedeutet nichts anderes als - runter kommen.

I have actually landed in paradise and in paradise the clocks tick more slowly.

It's Fiji time means nothing else than come down and relax.
Of course a big challenge for me, coming down from 100% to almost 0%.
So after 1 minute I was in "Fiji Time" mode :-)

Nichts! Außer schnorcheln, tauchen, lesen, essen, schlafen...
Das ganze 12 Tage lang.
Ja, ohne Probleme.

What do you do all day on such a small, beautiful island?

Nothing! In addition to snorkeling, diving, reading, eating, sleeping...
The whole 12 days.
Yes, without any problems.

Nun bin ich aber schon wieder aus meinem It's Fifi Time Modus erwacht (ja auch mein Blog war sehr entspannt) und ich werde euch nun weiter von meinen letzten Monaten berichten.

Bis bald
Eure Natze

Now I have already woken up out of my It's Fiji time mode (yes my blog was very relaxed, too) and I will now continue to tell you about my last few months.

Bye for now

#friendintown

The most important things in life are friends and family.
So I'm happy that a friend of mine from Berlin/Germany came to visit.
Now it's time to get out of my everyday life and into the "playing tourist in my town :-) " ...

After our win game on Wednesday against Western NY Flash ( here again the highlights and also a huge thanks to our fans ), we went to Pacific City, after training on Thursday.
Finally the sea :-), as I missed it…

We made a short stop in Tillamook, as usual - we stopped for a restroom break, or we say in Germany "Pippipause" and we admired the incredibly wild, american wildlife :-)

Tillmook bedeutet im Volksmund der Indianer, "land of many waters".

Tillmook means in the vernacular of the Indians, "land of many waters".
I couldn't see the water, but I knew it wasn't that far…
Check out my new vehicle …

Da, endlich das Meer
:-)

Finally the sea
:-)

Of course we had to mix things up, to see a bit of the culture. So we saw Cape Meares Lighthouse
- it was a beautiful view and from time to time you can also see whales -
I didn't see any :-(

Then we went walking through the woods to admire the Occtopus Tree.
Why do you think, this is his name, you can see here:

On the way back from the tree to the car, something incredible happened. A snake!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
crossed my path!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Who doesn't know yet - I don't like this kind of animal. In Australia I was always very wary of them and I have never seen one ( except in the zoo … )
Man o man, I had to go to Portland to almost "attacked" by a snake.
Unfortunately there is no photo of the giant monster. My scream probably scared "him" away :-)

After the shock, I needed a breather, and what can be more helpful…
That's right, eat and have a drink while watching the sunset…

It was great :-)

So, now I have to go until the next game calls again…
Keep your fingers crossed.
